Mega Man X3 is the first game in the series in which Zero is a playable character in addition to X. Fire the “X-Buster” cannon and his special weapons to fight intelligent robots. The main platform of Mega Man X3 is the same as in the tradition of the Mega Man series, which is the action genre such as running, jumping, rushing, clinging and climbing walls. After twice defeating leader Maverick Sigma, the heroes of Mega Man X and Zero once again had to fight a Reploid scientist called Dr Doppler and the Mavericks who followed him. Cain, the inventor of the Reploids, has set up a task force called “Maverick Hunter” to prevent these robots from committing their crimes. The story of Mega Man X3 set in the 22nd century (“21XX”), where humans coexist with intelligent robots called “Reploids”.Due to being programmed with several free commands, some Reploids tend to operate in connection with crimes of destruction and are called “Maverick”.Dr. Mega Man X3 is the third game in the Mega Man X series and appears on SNES for the last time.
